Yacht and Ship Registration
George Town is the Capital of Grand Cayman and has been a port of British registry since 1904, following the enactment of the 1894 Merchant Shipping Act.
Today the Cayman Islands are a Category 1 British register, and accordingly are placed alongside Britain in being able to register vessels of any size, from super-yachts to super-tankers.
The granting of such status is evidence of the high quality regulatory framework that governs all aspects of Cayman Islands flagged vessel operations and management.
Our specialists can project manage the entire registration process of yachts and ships in the Cayman Islands, including incorporating a Cayman Island company to own the vessels, liaising with ship builders, surveyors and other related professionals and liaising with the Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands.
We have a genuine enthusiasm for our work; Marine Services is both a business line and a passion.
